KATIE FITZGERALD

A 14-year-old actress, singer, and dancer from Maryland with a huge love for musical theatre, film, and storytelling. I’ve been performing since I was 5, when I played Tiny Kim in A Christmas Carol at The Avalon Theatre — and ever since, I’ve known this is what I’m meant to do.

​I’ve been training in voice and dance (ballet, jazz, and tap) for eight years, and I currently train in acting with Jessi Clayton and Sam Parker through The Prep Professional Performance Prep.  I have also attended Broadway Artists Alliance musical theatre intensives in New York City, and I have trained and performed with Young Artists of America. I’m always working to grow as an artist!

​One of my favorite roles so far has been Lydia in Beetlejuice — I loved getting to explore big emotions, strong vocals, and the perfect amount of dark humor. Whether I’m on stage or on set, I love diving into characters and telling stories that make people feel something.

​When I’m not performing, I’m usually writing, drawing, editing videos, eating gummy bears, or rewatching The Office (I’ve lost count). I’m a big Percy Jackson and Harry Potter fan, and I’m always dreaming up new ideas for stories or characters.
