KATIE FITZGERALD

 A 14-year-old actress, singer, and dancer from Maryland with a huge love for musical theatre, film, and storytelling. I’ve been performing since I was 5, when I played Tiny Kim in A Christmas Carol at The Avalon Theatre — and ever since, I’ve known this is what I’m meant to do.

I’ve been studying voice, piano, and dance (ballet, jazz, and tap) for over seven years, and I’m always working to grow as an artist. I train in on-camera acting with Jessi Clayton and Sarah Baskin through The Prep Professional Performance Prep, and I also attend Broadway Artists Alliance musical theatre intensives in New York City.

One of my favorite roles so far has been Lydia in Beetlejuice — I loved getting to explore big emotions, strong vocals, and the perfect amount of dark humor. Whether I’m on stage or on set, I love diving into characters and telling stories that make people feel something.

When I’m not performing, I’m usually writing, drawing, editing videos, eating gummy bears, or rewatching The Office (I’ve lost count). I’m a big Percy Jackson and Harry Potter fan, and I’m always dreaming up new ideas for stories or characters.
